I think I’ve decided on this for my EDC digital watch. Classic design, zero OCD triggers with time sync and battery life, good price (probably much cheaper in HK, too, when I go) and rectangle shape which I’m already looking out for.

"kommetgrau" (comet gray) is originally a color for mercedes benz automobiles back in the early 2000s. it's a metallic silver color and gives off a satin-like finish.
i personalized it by making it a bit darker. because of this, the "satin effect" turned into a "shimmer effect" because the paint, when applied to the body, looks rough, like you threw fine sand on the wet body and then putting a layer of silver-gray paint.
the result is a slight shimmer when the car is moving, like a comet's tail. that's the actual effect i intended. after all, the devil is really in the details.
that said, this blog is mostly about cars, with a little bit of gaming and tech thrown in. you might see a little bit of comics in here, as well as food and architecture. hello and welcome.
